Established in 1996 after 3 years intensive research into
alpacas and the industry, the purchase of 3 pregnant
females plus 1 cria (baby) formed the foundation herd at Beavona Lodge with their truly superb stunning progeny now making their mark Nationally as well as in Queensland.
The Suri is very rare world wide, with the silky, luxurious
fibre preferred by many designers catering to royalty and heads of state internationally.
It's gentle and inquisitive nature has proven the Suri an ideal
venture for the QLD climate, the ease of  management a  bonus for anyone unable to cope with  conventional livestock.
